Predicting Landslides in Costa Rica Using Self-Organizing Map Machine Learning and Spectral Clustering.
Responsibilities include: Assisting the professor in preparing exams, grading assignments and exams, proctoring exams, and holding office hours for students.
Use of GIS programs to complete database entry, layer creation, layer edits, data analysis and, network analysis. Complete document research to assist in the creation and updating of data in the Towns GIS database. Creating and updating various online and Web Mapping Applications. Training staff in ArcView GIS and in Web Mapping Applications. Also acts as asset management clerk for the Towns Tangible Capital Assets. Also includes GPS fieldwork, updating various spatial datasets.
