  • Assisted postdoctoral researcher through the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences with research being conducted at Pinery Provincial Park.
  • Coastal geomorphology based research assessing the underlying causes for coastal sand dune blowouts as well as beach and sand dune interactions.
  • Reviewed and summarized previously completed peer-reviewed journals to gather information on past discoveries on coastal sand duneblowouts.

Environmental Sustainability Internship

  • Assisted Environmental Coordinator with revision of City’s Climate Change Adaptation Plan, Environmental Master Plan and Community Energy Plan.
  • Attended meetings with other departments of the City ofWindsor and discussed the possible impacts that climate change could have on their department.
  • Performed vulnerability and risk assessments for each climate change impact and inputted the data into Microsoft Excel to create data tables and graphs.
  • Created Environmental Education Stations for multiple facilities around the city to inform the public of our 3 environmental plans and how they can create a positive impact on the environment.
  • Held booths at various locations during Earth Week to inform the public of the state of our environment and energy saving practices.
